FORUM OF SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCES OF EDUCATIONAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENTS AT THE FACULTY OF SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES IN HOTAT SUDAIR.

The College of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Sudair organized a forum for the successful experiences of the departments of Educational Affairs under the slogan (we meet for better Education).

Under the auspices of Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Ali Romaih, this meeting aims to create an inclusive forum highlighting the bright aspects of successful educational experiences at the college level and eventually leading to the support and stimulation of the educational process at the university level. Furthermore, additional goals of the forum included the continued development of the academic departments at the university, the encouragement of initiatives and creative ideas and the promotion of strategic orientation.


The forum began with an opening speech by the Dean of the College, Dr. Tarek Soliman Albahlal, in which he welcomed the respected audience.

 

“I really appreciate the role of the Department of Academic Affairs at the College, its interest in the educational process, in boasting the college standards and in its determination to learn from the experiences of others.” The Dean said. “It’s important to support these kinds of initiatives that raise the level of educational services in our colleges” Dr. Albahlal pointed out.


Then the Vice-Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Yusuf Mohamed Al-Mahous gave another speech. He also welcomed the University Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs, college Vice-Deans of Academic Affairs and the providers of successful experiences.
 

He talked about the forum and the contributions of the college departments of Academic Affairs that serve the educational process within the University colleges. “I appreciate the role of the Department of Academic Affairs in the development and encouragement of initiatives and creative ideas at our College.” Dr. Al-Mahous said. “It’s certainly useful to exchange ideas and experiences among the academic departments for educational distinction and mutual benefit.” He added.


During the forum, 28 successful educational experience of nine colleges in addition to the Preparatory Year Deanship were introduced. Three educational sessions were also held, and 15 successful educational experiments were examined. The participating colleges were the College of Education, the College of Science and Humanities in Ghaat, the College of Engineering in Majmaah, the College of Education in Zulfi, the College Humanities in Rumaah, the Community College, the College of Computer and Information Sciences, the College of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Sudair, and the Preparatory Year Deanship.
 

Dr. Yousef Al-Mahous concluded the forum. He stated that the meeting revealed the need for these educational forums that potentially exchange distinguished and successful academic experiments among the university colleges. Considerable efforts by the academic departments were abundantly clear at the forum. 


At the conclusion of the forum, participating colleges with successful experiences were honored. This forum enjoyed a good media coverage by the Media Committee and the Public Relations Unit at the College.
