His Excellency the Vice Rector, Dr. Muslim bin Mohammed Al Dosari, made an inspection visit to the General Department of Facilities and Services to view the workflow and launch a number of its projects. He was received by his Excellency the General Director of Facilities and Services, Mr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Abdul Jabber; the Director of the General office, Mr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Mutairi; the Director of Facilities Department, Mr. Badah bin Abdulrahman Al Badah; the Director of Services Department, Mr. Mutab bin Mohammed Maymouni; the General Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Mr. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Mousa, as well as the staff in the General Department of Facilities and Services. His Excellency the Vice Rector first visited the emergency room, where he inspected the emergency follow-up process through the Early Warning System; he viewed the way the system is operated, the data and results are analyzed and, transmitted as information from the Emergency Center to the Vice Rector and distributed to the concerned authorities for implementation. Besides, his Excellency viewed the auto-tracking system of the university vehicles and its work mechanism. Then, his Excellency and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the new logo of the university public service vehicles and its components, praising this step and the excellence of the university work. Dr. Al Dosari was also briefed on a number of equipment, related to the management of facilities, which provides a distinguished service to relevant sectors of the university, including the private warehouses of spare parts, fixed and mobile workshop, and mechanisms of the extraction and use of fuel cards. Then, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation visited the bus stops, where he talked to some bus drivers and the project supervisor on the part of the hauler; he also inspected a bus from the inside by checking its equipment, and discussed the bus needs in terms of maintenance, and the follow-up of its safety needs. At the end of his tour, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation held a meeting with the department team, where his Excellency the Director General of Facilities and Services, Mr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Abdul Al Jabbar, gave a presentation about the department. He expressed that the department is pleased with such visits that shows the leadership continuous interests in developing all the university components. Then, the department officials talked for a while about the department. After that, His Excellency the Vice Rector pointed out that this department is one of the most important departments, having to support all the parties in the university. At the same time, he added that he was very pleased with the high level the department had reached; he added that his Excellency the Rector is always following up and eager to develop the university in all its components and by all means possible. His Excellency then praised the great progress achieved in finishing the registration of the university vehicles, in addition to the perfect and potential services provided by the department to the Vice-Rectorship. Finally, His Excellency the Vice Rector stressed the importance of the full coordination between the Vice Rectorship and the General Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs in the implementation of tasks. He, in addition, highlighted the need to support the distinguished employees of the department, adding that the Vice-Rectorship will always totally support and appreciate the department efforts.
