Among the activities of Souk Okaz, sponsored by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud (may Allah protect him), inaugurated on his behalf by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al Faisal bin Abdul Aziz, Custodian’s Advisor, Governor of Makkah and Head of the Supervising Committee of Souk Okaz and organized by the Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage, Majmaah University has participated in the festival through a special corner of the Student Creativity Center, showing several internationally-recognized innovations of Majmaah University innovators. Furthermore, statistics and academic as well as administrative accomplishments of the University were shown in addition to offering several gifts to the festival visitors, which has reflected a bright image of the university in the Festival. On this occasion, Dr. Bakheet Al- Rashidi, head of Student Innovation Center, said that the participation of the university in Souk Okaz events is part of the active community partnership of Majmaah University and the willingness to contribute to the local and international events in order to benefit from others and show the achievements of the university. “It is also part of the objectives of the Innovation Center to spread the culture of creativity among the people of the community”, he added. The University delegation included Dr. Bakhit Al-Rashidi, Head of Innovation Center and Student Creativity, Mr. Ahmed Al-Daoud , Mr. Thamir AL-Thimiri from the Administration of Public Relations and Mr. Abdulaziz Dahoum in addition to innovators students.
