The dedication of the labs at the colleges of science and applied medical sciences along with the program ran by the Department of University Environment and Occupational Health was finally resulted in the great achievement of being awarded the certificate of Occupational Health & Safety Advisory Services (OHSAS 18001).
In this regard, the vice-rector, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari mentioned that the project comprises several phases which commenced by seeking a consulting organization and followed by the analysis stage and finally promoting the concept. Well-trained working teams were assigned to follow up the stage of internal auditing as well as the first and second stages of external auditing.
The MU Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren expressed his appreciations with the achievement made by the university rectorship which is always concerned to ensure the safety of the university environment.
