The Deanship of Academic Research announced the launch of programs of funding faculty members’ research projects. These programs include the Distinct Research groups, Distinct Research and the Program of Distinct Research. “Three quality programs for funding research at Majmaah University have been created”, Dr. Thamir Al-Harbi, Dean of Academic Research Deanship, said. “These programs will contribute (God willing) to the increase of publishing distinctive research papers in SCOPUS and ISI-accredited journals,” he continued. Dr. Harbi pointed to the ongoing support of Dr. Abdullah Al-Shaye, Vice-rector of Academic Research, to all research programs and activities, reflecting the interest of Majmaah University Rector Dr. khalid Al-Muqrin in this respect. The Research Deanship seeks to develop quality programs that contribute to the support and promotion of academic research at the university. In addition, conducting these distinct research programs that correspond to the orientations and priorities of the university along with the plans of development in the Kingdom and publishing them in high-ranking academic journals represent the main objectives of the deanship.
