As part of the quality initiatives undertaken by the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education to serve community members and meet their needs, the Deanship, represented by Dr. Omar Al-Shriovi, signed an agreement for establishing a registration and test center for the IELTS test with the British Council under the aegis of the vice-rector Dr. Mosallam Al- Dosari. This is the fifth center of its kind at the level of Saudi governmental and private universities. The center aims to meet the needs of community members for preparation and testing centers concerning international proficiency exams such as the IELTS test. This is the second center to be established after the Cambridge International Certificate Test Center in information technology by the International Test Unit at the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education. Dr. Omar alshriovi emphasized the significance of this Centre and the need to set it in motion in addition to its positive returns on the University, as well as the most important services it will provide to the community members. Dr. Mosallam Al-Dosari, Majmaah Vice-president thanked the people who introduce these distinctive initiatives that contribute to the vision and mission of the University and provide valuable services to community members. After signing the agreement, a meeting between the delegation of the British Council and department heads at the deanship was held to discuss prospects for future cooperation between the Council and the Deanship.
