MU RECTOR TO LAUNCH MICROSOFT & OFFICE SERVICES 365

The MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren has launched the services of Microsoft & Office 365 for students in the conference hall. The launch was attended by the university vice-rectors, deans and a number directors of units as well as the dean of IT Deanship, Dr. Adel Al-Said.   

The Dean of IT, Dr. Al-Said began the event by providing an overview of these services and the primary purpose behind them. Dr. Al-Said concluded his speech by extending thanks to the Rector for the unconditional support as well as the employees at IT deanship.

The Director of the project, Mr. Nashmi al-Rashidi provided a detailed explanation of the main features of Microsoft & Office 365 and how students can make use of them. A free of charge email is offered to students with 1 terabyte capacity of storage, Mr. Al-Rashidi added. Among the other features, he added, is the ability to download Office 2013 plus pro on computers and smart devices.

The Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren delivered a speech where he extended his appreciations to the employees at IT Deanship for their unfailing commitment to facilitate the e-services for students and employees.
