His Highness Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari signed on Monday 11/9/1433 H a number of constructive contracts for new academic universities in a number of regions and provinces at a total cost (625,631,758) million riyals which include the project (Phase II) of establishing the general location at Majmaah University at a total cost of (98,293,000) million riyals. His Highness Dr. Khalid Al-Angari stated that the contracts that were signed is an extension to a number of contracts by which the Ministry attempted to sign in the context of completion of the infrastructure of universities in the regions and governorates of the Kingdom. His Highness the Minister emphasized that these universities have become a unique model that is able to provide a distinguished academic environment which will reflect positively, God willing, on its output to serve the development in this country. On this occasion, His Highness Dr. Khalid Al-Angari extended his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and His Highness the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz for their great concerns about Higher Education Sector and its employees.His Highness the Rector, Dr. Khaled bin Sa'ad Al-Muqrin extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Anqari for signing the second phase of the project for the establishment of the general location in Al-Majmaah University where he regarded that project as an important step in the history of the university to complete the infrastructure of the University. Moreover, it is also a milestone as it will provided the University with modern premises, expansion of the ability complying with the highest standards in the field of university education to meet the future requirements of the University as well as meeting the growing numbers of employees, faculty members and students and creating academic environment conducive to creativity, excellence and achievement. It will also assist the University staff to achieve their work with high quality performance and raise the level of production as well as expanding the activities in administrative, academic and research fields. Besides, it will contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the university and its strategic plans to offer its service to the community. On this occasion, His Highness Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Mogren extended his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and His Highness the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz for their great concerns about Higher Education Sector and its employees. His Highness the Rector pointed that during this year, the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Anqari signed several projects related to the university, including the construction of the administration building and Supported Deanships, the Construction of Supported Business in Colleges in Zulfi Project and Faculty of Medicine Building Project. Moreover, the construction of Faculty of Applied Medical Science in the main campus has already started. Faculty of Education will be constructed in the main campus and the College of Dentistry in Zulfi. Besides, furnishing and equipping colleges and laboratories as well as the establishment of dental clinics in the School of Dental Medicine.
