WORLD CANCER DAY EVENT LAUNCHED BY APPLIED MEDICAL SCIENCES COLLEGE

Since College of Applied Medical Sciences is interested on World Cancer Day, Dean Dr. Fahd Bin Khalid Dhafiri ordered to present volunteering services and activities to increase health awareness.  The Unit of Student Rights and Activities responded by launching an event entitled (#Cancer_Fighters_Team) on Sunday 28\4\1437 AH. at the College Lobby, Female section and Panda Supermarket in Majmaah.

   Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Aydarous, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, opened the event in the presence of students and faculty, who expressed their thanks to the College efforts in Community Services. Then, the event took place in Panda Supermarket with a presentation about Cancer, its types and symptoms, and methods of preventing it. The volunteers conducted a competition regarding Cancer, blood glucose analysis and calculating BMI for the attendants. Finally,  Dr. Muhammad Al-Aydarous had a speech expressing his thanks to the volunteering students and faculty who used their knowledge to increase society's health awareness.
