QUALITY AND ITS APPLICATION IN EDUCATION LECTURE

 The College of Science and Humanities in Hawtet Sedeir held a lecture entitled “Quality and Its Application in Education”. the at the Department of Education in Hawtet Sedeir and Majmaah in addition to schools’ principles and vice-principles attended the presentation, which was delivered by the Dean of the Quality and Skills Development Deanship, Dr. Khalid Al-Jarallah. Dr. Tarik Al-Bahlal- Dean of the College of Science and Humanities- opened the meeting and gave an overview of the College’s role in community service and its future development in this regard. He also thanked the audience who came from distant areas to attend the presentation. Dr. Jarallah first introduced the concept of quality as an integrated part of education and an essential component necessary for the improvement of educational productivity. The relationship between quality in education and community needs were explained during the meeting as well, and for a positive educational change to occur, this relationship must be strengthened. Dr. Jarallah presented the features of advanced and sustainable quality such as: Mobilizing all the staff of the institution, encouraging teamwork, focusing on the goals of the institution and linking those features to the strategic plan. Then he spoke about Majmaah University successful experiment in this field and explained the stages of development of quality from theory to practice. At the end of the lecture, questions of the audience were answered, and certificates of appreciation were distributed. The attendants praised the lecture and the lecturer professionality in delivering it. In the same vein, the Dean of the College of Science and Humanities thanked the attendants for their participation in the presentation, which is part of the College’s plan in community service. He also expressed his deep appreciation to the Director of the Department of Education in Majmaah Mr. Salih Al-Zikri for his effective cooperation and interest in participating in these programs.
