MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren patronized the ceremony of Quran and Sunnah memorization’s contest for students as well as closing of students activities for the academic year 1436/1437.More than 400 students have participated in the contest organized by the Deanship of Students’ Affairs.
Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. Hamad Al-Gumaizi talked about the plan set by the deanship which included various activities that were designed to meet the needs of students. On the primary objective of organizing a contest for memorizing Quran and Sunnah, Dr. Al-Gumaizi mentioned that such a contest would encourage students adhere to the teachings of Quran and Sunnah.
The ceremony also included samples of students’ recitation followed by a documentary film about the deanship’s achievements.
