EID AL-FITER CONGRATULATIONS

Majmaah University Chancellor Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin extended his sincere congratulations on behalf of Majmaah University personnel to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Naif bin Abdul-Aziz- Head of the Cabinet and Minster of Interior- and the Deputy-Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz- Deputy-head of the Cabinet and Minister of Defense, the University staff and the Saudi people at large. 

 

He prayed the Almighty to return the Eid to all with blessings and prosperity. He also called for the Saudi people to hold on to their loyalty to the wise leadership, In light of the power of solidity between the people and leadership, and the Kingdom's political stability and economic prosperity.  This stability and security give the reason to foresee a more bright future - God willing - to this beloved country through the Kingdom’ s vision of 2030, which creates the perception of a historical anticipated leap that might shape the future of the nation.

 

 “Good bye to the holy month of Ramadan,” Dr. Muqrin said. “Praise be to the Almighty for the fasting and praying during the holy month. We ask Him- Blessed and Exalted- to forgive our sins and help us get closer to his mercy,” he continued. Then he said “Ramadan is the month of self-accountability, patience and determination, where we fight our desires to obey the Almighty and train our souls for purity.”

 

“We celebrate Eid Al-Fiter, bringing about the happiness that is reflected on the reward from the Almighty for our fasting and praying,” he sustained.

 

Dr. Muqrin mentioned that Eid Al-Fiter days come to strengthen the ties among Muslims through kindness, solidarity, kinship and harmony. “The rich checks on the poor, and the old is kind to the young. You see people in harmony and content with the Almighty reward for the worship during the sacred month,” he elaborated.

 

Dr. Muqrin pointed up “This is the 7th Eid since the establishment of the University, which has managed to make great progress and considerable achievements throughout the years.”

 

He concluded that “such accomplishments encourage us to work even harder and collaborate to continue this success, especially with the substantial financial support of our government.”

 

Dr. Muqrin also prayed for the safety and wellbeing of the King and the leadership as well as the prosperity and stability of the country.
