A team of students from the College of Computer Science and Information were awarded for winning the 2nd place in the competition of Cyber Arabia on the sideline of the 2nd International Conference on C4I Solutions.
The Conference was under the patronage of the Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and was held recently at King Saud University in Riyadh in collaboration with Northrop Grumman. The aim of the competition is to increase awareness of cyber-attacks among students. 27 teams of male and female students competed on how to prevent cyber-attacks in a virtual system, where points are won based on level of difficulty and speed. Dr. Hisham Al-Saqee, dean of CSIT, thanked the students: Thamer Al-Shemmri, Mohammad Al-Suhaimi and Mohammed Al-Mugren, who participated in the competition and honorable achievement. Appreciations are also extended to MU rector for his unlimited support and encouragement.
