In response to the requirements set by the National Transformation Program 2020, Majmaah University has improved its transportation system for female students. More than 85% of female students in different locations benefit from this service with high level of safety and security.
The improvement in transportation service was achieved via signing a contract with a company where all safety and security requirements were taken into consideration. The accumulative experience of the university in this field along with the feedback received from beneficiaries were also of great help. The fleet covers a huge geographical area with 7000 female students who are transported daily to four different governorates, parents are notified about the location of the bus and if drivers put student safety at risk. The transportation service is supported by an advanced e-system that incorporates all administrative and financial procedures such as registration, real-time information of all tracks and several logistic services. The transportation system at MU received a wide ranging of compliments from officials and sectors including the minister of education Dr. Ahmed Al-Eysa.
