A 3-days campaign was organized by MU in collaboration with Zahrah Association at the multifunctional hall to spread the awareness of breast cancer.
With the Social Responsibility Observatory as a patron, the campaign included several booths to educate the public about the disease, and a number of leaflets and brochures about the disease were distributed to the guests.
Some educational films were shown explaining the stages of how the cancer cells develop in breast and the surgery of breast cancer. Interviews with some sick people, who managed to recover from breast cancer disease, were shown as well.
An educational lecture was also presented by Ms. Badreya Al-Saif and Dr. Sawsan Mustafa which focused on the importance of discovering the early stages of breast cancer for treatment and some important facts about cancer.
