A meeting was held with the vice-rector, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Al-Wanin, Dean of IT Deanship and Mr. Yousef Al-Rukban, director of e-Portal, to review a report submitted by IT Deanship on the Internal e-Portal.
The report includes several parts such as the proposed design, services to be provided to students and staff and the feature of single sign-on (SSO) for systems and services via the Internal e-Portal.
A statistical report was also shown to the vice-rector highlighting the figure of translated and un-translated content of the e-Portal as well as the optimal measures to be taken to overcome all obstacles that might hinder the progress of work.
Among the topics addressed in the meeting were also the project of developing the 5th version of the e-Portal and the project technical support and the possibility of setting a timetable for executing the two projects.
