The Department of Services has set up 24-hour channels of communication through the Follow up Unit of Extreme Weather Conditions.
MU Vice-Rector Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari announced the Rector’s directives of facilitating communications through the channels. Parents, students or citizens can report extreme weather conditions to be transferred to the competent department through the Risk Assessment Department at the Observatory Center which then examines the conditions with the relevant departments on campus before a decision of suspending classes is made. The main purpose of the channels is to ensure the safety of students and staff, especially in remote areas. The Vice-Rector thanked the Rector for his continuous follow-up and his support of the channels and facilities that provide several useful services to the students and staff members.
