Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, MU rector, welcomed in his office the winning team that achieved the second place in the exhibition and innovation award with an invention that measures the percentage of cholesterol in blood. The team was chaired by Dr. Raed Al-Bara’adi, supervisor of Sheikh Al-Twaijri Research Chair for Applied Medical Cases of Stroke. The reception was also attended by Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaye, vice-rector for Graduate studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamer Al-Harbi, director of Research Chairs Department and Dr. Bader Al-Mutairi, deputy director of Innovation Center. Dr. Al-Bara’adi briefed the rector with the aim of the award which promotes the culture of innovation and allows entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to present their projects to investors. The exhibition, launched by the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority in partnership with "Asbar World Forum 2017" for the first time, was patronized by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region with the participation of 66 international and local speakers.
