At the request of MU's rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, and the follow-up of the Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Muhammad Al-Shehri, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center held an initiative in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs and Health Colleges to support students who will participate in the Health Innovation Hackathon 4th edition. This initiative is evidence of the university’s efforts to promote the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students and to encourage students to take part in the Health Innovation Hackathon 4th edition which will be organized by King Saud Health University during the period 19-22 January 2024.
The initiative featured a series of activities and events for more than 200 students. Many workshops were held to address the challenges facing the health sector and how to generate creative solutions and innovative ideas and pioneering projects in the health sector and available opportunities.
16 innovative works were developed and evaluated, 10 of which were selected to be presented in the Health Innovation Hackathon.
