College of Education in Zulfi is Champion of the Rector's Soccer Cup

College of Education in Zulfi wins the Rector’s Soccer Cup Under the auspices of His Excellency the university Rector, Dr. Khalid Bin Saad Al Muqrin, and with the presence of His Excellency the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Bin Ali Al Romaih, the Deanship of Student Affairs represented by the Department of Sports and Scout Activities concluded the events of the University Rector’s Soccer Cup. The final match was held between Zulfi College of Education team and Hotat Sudair College of Science and Human Studies team in King Salman Sport City Stadium in Majmaah. After a fierce competition between the two teams, Zulfi College of Education team won the match with a score of 7-3. After the conclusion of the match, the winning teams in the tournament as well as the players were honored, and the results were as follow: - Zulfi College of Science won 4th place and was awarded 1000 SR; the College of Computer Sciences and Information Technology came in 3rd place and was awarded the bronze medal and 2000 SR; Hotat Sudair College of Science and Human Studies won 2nd place and was awarded the silver medal and 4000 SR; and Zulfi College of Education came 1st and was awarded the Rector’s Cup, the gold medal and 6000 SR. After that, commemorative photos were taken of the winning teams with His Excellency the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Bin Ali Al Romaih. In fact, the final match was attended by the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamed Bin Abdullah Al Ghumeizi; the Dean of the College of Education in Zulfi, Dr. Abdullah Bin Khalifa Al Suwaiket; the College Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Qashami; the College Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Rashid Bin Hamoud Al Thanayan; the College Secretary of Activities, Mr. Omar Bin Ahmed Al Khonaini; the College Director of the Sports Activities, Mr. Ahmed Al Saif; and a number of the College affiliates as well. It is also worth mentioning that the Rector’s championship was launched with the participation of 14 teams divided into three groups, where the first team in each group with the second best will qualify for the semi-finals. The tournament system was a one league system, and it was attend by a large audience that filled the exciting and fiercely competitive matches with loud rallying sounds. The tournament matches were led by a referee’s team certified by the Referees Committee of the Saudi Football Federation.
