Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Education holds Scientific Research Week
The Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Education in Al-Zulfi holds a Week on Scientific Research entitled "Arabic Language Researches and its role in Cultural Building", an event which occurred within the period from 05/05/1437 AH to 09/05/1437 AH, under the auspices of the Head of the Department, Dr. Fahad Bin Saleh Al-Molhem and under the supervision of the Department Coordinator and Coordinator of the Committee of Scientific Research Dr. Abeer Abdul Sadiq Mohammed Badawi. The Committee of Academic Research at the Department of Arabic Language in cooperation with the Faculty's Unit of Scientific Research marked a "Week on Mini-Scientific Research" at the level of the Department, entitled "Arabic Language Researches and its role in Cultural Building". A number of Department personnel participated in this event, which aimed to build bridges of research activity for Faculty Members, to learn from their experiences, and to prepare for holding a week on scientific research at the University. This event included various topics, and covered by a number a Sessions, as the First Session addressed by Dr. Abeer Abdul Sadiq Mohammed, on the role of scientific research in cultural building, focused on building a knowledge-based society, which is considered to be a priority of civilized world in all its aspects and dimensions and of building a knowledge-based society in all its forms. The Second Session addressed a research of Dr. Hajar Mohammed Al-Bashir entitled "Meanings of Structures in the Quran". The Third Session focused on the particpation of Department Teaching Assistants such as; Ms. Huda Al-Awwad, Ms. Muzna Suwaiket, Ms. Aida Alsoqiani, and Ms. Nawal Al-Fahham, who talked about their experiences in scientific research and post graduate studies. The Fifth Session was concerning the role of the University Book in scientific research by Dr. Tharwat Ibrahim Abdul Tawalbeh. The concluding Session was, with the participation of the Department of Arabic Language, on a lecture delivered by Dr. Nawal Al-Dosoqi about common linguistic errors in scientific researches.
