aculty of Education in Alzulfi Carries out a Training Course Entitled “Skills of Research and Retrieval in the Saudi Digital Library
In cooperation with Deanship of Library Affairs in the university, Faculty of Education in Alzulfi conducted a training course entitled “Skills of Research and Retrieval in the Saudi Digital Library”. The course was presented by Dr. Usamah Khamees on Wednesday 6/2/1437 in the quality hall (men’s campus) and training hall (women’s campus). The course which began by a speech for the faculty vice Dean for graduate studies and scientific research, Dr. Sa’ad Abdullah Alhmoud, discussed a number of topics: (1) the objectives of the lecture and information awareness (why? How?) (2) introducing the Saudi Digital Library, the goal of accessing and using the Saudi Digital Library; the benefits of the Saudi Digital Library for 2015; the access steps and how to register in Saudi Digital Library; the statistics of electronic information resources in Saudi Arabia; Arabic electronic database; and practical applications on using Arabic electronic database.
