Faculty of Education in Alzulfi Conducts a Workshop Entitled “Youth Perversion: Causes and Remedies”
The Vice Rectorship for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, represented by the unit of community service, conducted a workshop entitled “Youth Perversion: Causes and Remedies” on Wednesday 5/3/1437 by Dr. Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Alhilayyel, who is a researcher in the national causes and intellectual security for more than 20 educational leaders from general education in addition to the faculty leaders. The course began with a welcoming speech by the faculty Dean Dr. Sa’ad Almahmoud, and he stressed on the importance of these courses. He also extended thanks to the university and faculty for providing such beneficial courses. He offered thanks to the Deanship of Community Service for sponsoring and supporting such courses. Then, he offered thanks to the head of the unit of community service in the faculty Dr. Abdulaziz Alileiwi for coordinating and organizing this workshop. Dr. Abdulaziz Alhilayyel, the course presenter, started talking about the concepts related to perversion of youth, how Islam has taken care of this aspect of life, the consequences of perversion and how to rectify perverts and bring them back to the right path. He also stressed the vitally important role of the social institutions in reinforcing the intellectual and behavioral security. He listed the institutions and their roles such as family, masjid, education at all stages, and the media. Dr. Alhilayyel concluded his talk with some elaboration on the falsehood of deviant ideas owners and how to respond to them due to the fact that he has wealthy experience in field work and educational institutions. At the end, he extended thanks to the university, the faculty and the attendees for their interaction. Participants raised a number of questions in a very interactive and positive manner, and they expressed their interest in the delivered material. Moreover, they requested more of these beneficial sessions to be held, especially with the wave of terrorism that exist all around the country.
