The Knowledge of setting plans A workshop entitled “The Knowledge of setting plans” was organized on 23/7/1438 AH in class no.59. The workshop was presented by Dr. Omaima A. Saeed and focused on the following topics: -the relationship between plans and university mission.- aspects to be taken into account when outlining the programs plans. -the impact of courses’ credit hours on the plans. - the effectiveness of the plan. Dr. Omaima defined the university mission and the main foundations and they are the educational programs, scientific research as well as community-based initiatives in order to achieve the sustainable development through patriotism and cultural values and heritage. Moreover, she linked the university mission to the way of setting plans ( Mathematics Department as a model) and clarified the great interest of courses content in a way that would prepare highly qualified cadres who are capable of competing at the local and international levels.
