Measurement and Assessment Workshop
In cooperation with the Department of Educational Sciences at Zulfi College (female campus), the Measurement and Evaluation Unit held, on Tuesday 14/05/1437 AH, a workshop titled "What is Measurement and Evaluation" in the College Theater. The workshop, which targeted faculty members, was presented by Dr. Mona Hamed Mohammad Abu-Wardah, an Educational Psychology and Measurement and Evaluation assistant professor at the Department of Educational Sciences. Moreover, the workshop aimed to explain the following: - The difference between measurement, evaluation and assessment. - Measurement Types and levels. - Areas of measurement. - Measurement functions. - The definition and types of assessment. - The difference between formative evaluation and summative evaluation . - Conditional requirements of evaluation tools.
