Nursing in Islamic jurisprudence

As part of the Islamic Studies Department and in cooperation with the Saudi Jurisprudence Association, the unit held an activity entitled “Nursing in Islamic jurisprudence”.
Goals of the activity:
1. Highlight the link between medicine and nursing
2. Juristic judgment related to nursing
Content of the activity:
1. Explain the concept of nursing
2. Evidence of its legality from Quran and Sunnah
The activity featured explaining nursing and its types such as family nursing and professional nursing. Medical cases that need to be judged against Sharia were also discussed along with some other exceptions in Islam about nursing.
