Professional Competencies in Theory and Practice

Within the activities of the Department of Special Education in the female campus, the Department organized a workshop titled: “Professional Competencies in Theory and Practice”.
The workshop addressed the following topics: Introduction, the workshop objectives, Definition of competence and professional competencies, competencies types, general competencies, mastering specialization Competencies, factors of professional development, criteria go hve successful teachers, quality of teaching, and open questions.
The workshop aimed at introducing competencies and it origin to the students, identifying types of competencies, and clarifying the criteria of a successful teacher.
