Student Support Day
Prepared by: The Student Support Unit at the female sections Date / Tuesday: 29/6/1438 Place / College of Education in Zulfi - Girls Departments Target group: students of the Faculty of Education in Zulfi. Objectives 1- Helping to create positive attitudes towards the university and giving students early experience which can speed up their adaptation to university life. 2- Reducing the feeling of fear in students, and bringing a sense of familiarity and reassurance. 3- Providing adequate guidance to students to help them identify laws, regulations, rules, and multiple facilities that help them to adapt to the university environment. 4- Emphasizing the importance of programs and counseling services provided to students, and indicating the need to interact with them for their positive impact on their future. The Faculty of Education in Zulfi - Female Students Department – held a celebration of the Student Support Day under the patronage of the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Ms. Lulu Al-Daweesh, Coordinator of the Student Support Unit at the College and the Unit Coordinators at all departments. The program included an exhibition that saw the distribution of leaflets, pamphlets and brochures regarding the functions of the student support unit and the services it provides to the students, stressing the importance of academic counseling and its role in helping the college students to continue their studies without falling behind. It also focused on all academic procedures of course selection, cancellation and withdrawal. .
