TRAINING SESSION ON HIGH ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SKILLS
Presenter: Dr. Dalia Abdulbaqi Mohammad Mustafa, an assistant professor of literature and criticism at the Arabic Language Department. Location: annexed building. Date: Wednesday, 02/02/1438 AH. Session title: “High Academic Achievement Skills”, presented as part of the Student Support Day events at the Arabic Language Department. Target group: female students. Objectives: 1- Encouraging students to seek success and excellence, as well as taking the right steps towards achieving their desired goals. 2- Equipping students with the proper tools for accomplishing their desired objectives through their education. Real success is an internal sense of self-achievement of good that we aspire for, as well as trusting in ourselves and developing our inherent capabilities. Therefore, we must have the required skills and potential to achieve our dreams and reach our ambitions. For that reason, the Arabic Language Department at the college held a training session on high academic achievement skills. Dr. Dalia Abdulbaqi presented the session; in which she talked about the concepts of excellence and success, and their most important foundations. Furthermore, she described several good academic habits that can lead to academic success, especially students’ enthusiasm, which she described as the cornerstone of progress and excellence. She concluded the session by advising the students on how to prepare for exams, and what to do during exams.
