Winner of King Salman Local Award for Holy Quran

The English Department at the College of Education at Majmaah University celebrated Saud Al-Harbi’s winning of the third division of King Salman Local Award for the Holy Quran. The celebration –sponsored by the Head of the Department, Dr. Rashid AL-Thanyan- was held in the English Club of the Department. Vice-dean for Academic affairs, Dr. Dhafir Al-Qarni and Head of the Islamic Department, Dr. Muhammad Al-Tayar attended the celebration. Dr. Abdul-Kareem Al-Harbi welcomed the attendants first and congratulated Saud for winning such a precious and commendable award. The College dean praised the winner and thanked the department heads and faculty members for this initiative, ensuring the willingness of the College to keep on motivating its students to do their best and be productive as well as ideal members of society. Mr. Saud expressed his gratitude to the department for such appreciation of his success and extended his indebtedness to the Holy Quran Society in Majmaah, feeling, meanwhile, proud of being the winner. Following this, the dean awarded the student a gift from the department. Then food and drinks were offered to the gusts. Celebration Objectives: 1- Celebration of Saud Al-Harbi’s achievement. 2- Motivating other students. 3- Sharing Saud’s accomplishment.
