ZULFI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION HOLDS A WORKSHOP ON THE E-LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (D2L)
As part of the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Learning action plan, the E-learning Unit held a workshop for the college female students titled (The E-learning Management System D2L). It took place every day from Sunday - Thursday 24-28 / 12/1437 AH, in the College Theater . Trainers: - Sunday 11-1 pm, Dr. Ezza Yusuf Al-Mughrabi. - Monday 8-10 pm, Dr. Sarah Babacer Jack. - Tuesday 9-11 pm, Dr. Sarah Babacer Jack. - Wednesday 9-11 pm, Dr. Manal Jweideh. Topics: 1- What are e-courses. 2- E-learning management systems. 3- The e-learning management system used in Majmaah University. 4- General overview of the e-learning system tools and characteristics. Objectives: - To identify the system used at the university and view its tools and characteristics in general. - To learn how to access the system. - To learn how to use it. - To learn how to use its tools. The trainers described the system used at the university "the E-learning Management System D2L", and how to study and enroll in e-courses. They also demonstrated how to access the system step by step by using the University ID number as a username, and the National ID number as a password. Additionally, they gave a detailed description of all the tools in the system (content – homework submission - discussions - communication tools - tests - virtual rooms), and a PowerPoint presentation about the system. At the end of the workshop they answered the students' questions, and commended them on their fruitful participation.
