The Zulfi College of Education welcomes its new students
: The Zulfi college of Education receives its new students. Last Monday, The Zulfi college of Education has organized a reception ceremony for the new students of the academic year 1435/1436 AH who attended the ceremony in large numbers. The college staff including the college deanship, the college deanship for students’ affairs, the college Deanship for Academic Affairs, the Public Relations Department, the heads of Departments and faculty members. The ceremony started by welcoming the new students whom a future that is full of accomplishment and work for the service of this nation is waiting for them. After that, verses from the holy Quran were recited followed by the new students’ speech and the speech of the college dean in which he welcomed the fourth promotion of students who joined the college since the inception of its male sections. He briefly talked about the college and the rapid progress which it has witnessed thanks to Allah first, and the support of this country governors especially that of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and his Heir, who are supporting e such educational institutions. He also demonstrated how to organize timetables and ended up his speech by a series of academic and educative advices. Then, the college deputy of educative affaires His Excellency Dr. Dhafer Bin Musleh Al-Qarni talked about the college, its departments, mission and message. Thereafter, the college academic advisor P. Hamzah Aayasrah delivered a speech in which he talked about the university environment and how to adjust to it pointing out to the importance of academic counseling and how it is necessary for the student to keep in touch with his academic advisor in order to grant a good academic performance. Then the floor was given for the student’s comments and queries. Afterwards, the reception team together with the students toured the college and introduced the campus different components, its departments and laboratories, its administration, faculty and employees. Then, the students received gifts which included guiding booklets about college and its departments as well as some particular presents, and at the end the whole group took a picture with the college principals
