The Astronomical Observatory received on Tuesday 02/07/1436 A.H, a delegation from Riadh Al-Ebdaa School in Al-Majmaah, under the supervision of Prof. Azzam Abdullah Al-Amer and Prof. Khalid Sulayman Al-Faham. They were received by the Director of the Astronomical Observatory, Prof. Abdullah Abu Hussein, in addition to the Public Relations Officer, Ahmad Al-Ghayama. Then, the students visited the Astronomy Exhibition where telescopes, the solar system, phases of the moon, nebulae and galaxies were illustrated by Dr. Sabri Ali and Prof. Abdullah Al-Khudairi. Moreover, they visited the planetarium, where Dr. Majdi Yusuf explained the stars’ movement and constellations distribution. Then, the Observatory experts made talked about the planets and stellar groups in the Observatory’s Sky and the planetarium. Visitors also expressed admiration for the Astronomical Observatory and thanked everyone for the warm reception and hospitality.
