The Unit of Creativity organized on Tuesday, 18/02/1439 an award ceremony for faculty members and female students who won the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award at the Reception Hall. Several students and faculty members attended the event, which was coordinated by Ms. Entesar Al-Sidawi, the coordinator of the Faculty Innovation Unit, and Ms. Sara Al-Ruwaished. Dr. Noura Al-Shihri- Vice-dean - encouraged the students to be more creative. She also thanked the supervisors of participating students for their efforts. She also commended the students who participated in the Innovation Award at the university.The winners of the Award were: Dr. Arafa Jibril, Ms. Entesar Al-Sidawi, Dr. Ayman Jaradat, and the award-winning students were: Hanan Al-Rashed, Nada Al-Faisal, Latifa Al-Faisal, Falah Al-Rashidi. A special award went to Rawan Abdulrahman Al-Leifan, who won the third place. She designed a system of automatic control of irrigation that can investigate the proportion of water needed by the soil based on the moisture content. When the soil is supplied with sufficient water, the pump is closed automatically. If the water tank runs out of water, the user gets a phone message. Furthermore, the users can automatically control the moisture level based on whether the water pump is either closed and open.A brief presentation of the idea was given by the student.
