The Department of Business Administration held a reception for the new students of the second semester, on Wednesday 7/5/1439 in the Reception Hall. The event began with verses from the Holy Quran, then the head of the department, Dr. Mubarak Mohammed Mansour gave a few tips to the students, citing verses from the Holy Quran and encouraging them to seek useful knowledge and to understand university life that aims at the development of their ability to take responsibility and make sound decisions. Dr. Mohammed Abu Saleh, the undersecretary of the Department of Business Administration, gave a brief presentation of the department's courses, the requirements of the department, the university and the college, in addition to the difference between optional and mandatory prerequisites. After that, Dr. Essam Abdul Rahman provided some advice to students regarding course selection and dropping without causing conflicts in the schedules. Then Dr. Awadallah talked about e-learning and its importance to the students. Later, Dr. Mohamed Al-Jali gave a brief explanation of the study methods. Some senior students also presented their experience to the freshmen on how to add and drop courses. The meeting concluded with a speech by Dr. Jamal Halawa concerning importance of academic advising and how to utilize the assistance of academic adviser in selecting courses and solving problems in short time
