College Holds Training on the Skills of Office Stress Management

The college organized a training session for the affiliates of Houtat Sudir and Tumir Municipalities within the framework of community service plan. The training titled "Office Stress Management " extended over two days. The first took place on Monday 4/7/1437 in Houtat Sudir Municipality while the second one was on Monday 10/8/1437 in the Tumir Municipality. Dr. Adel Bin Ibrahim AL Turki, professor of Islamic Studies in the Houtat Sudir College of Science and Humanities, conducted the training. The objective of the training was developing the creative skills of participants in problem solving and improving their technical, behavioral and intellectual abilities to find innovative solutions to relieve work stress and face difficult situations. The trainer started by introducing participants to the causes of work stress and explaining the essence of mind management especially when under pressure. He then moved to overview the different managerial and psychological tracks relying on the Science of Mind Management and their effects on dealing with problems. In the third part of the workshop, the trainer explained the intrinsic and extrinsic sources of stress, their causes, types, development and how to deal with them. The training included also a number of exercises inspired from the work environment of the participants. By the end of the training the attendees received certificates of attendance.
