The Islamic Studies Department in the College of Science and Humanities in Hawtat Sudair launched in collaboration with the Vice-Dean’s Office for Student Affairs a Competition under the theme: “ A Competition on Science of Inheritance”, Where the teams competed for first place prize. The event was sponsored by the college Dean Dr. Tarek Bin Suleiman Al Bahlal. Explaining this competition, Head of Contemporary Islamic Studies Department Dr. Khalid Al Sarheed said: “A wide range of Islamic questions related to inheritance have been prepared and given to the participants, each team was given one minute to answer a question orally. The purpose of this competition is to master the knowledge of the science of inheritance which is one of the most important Islamic Sharia sciences. On Sunday, 10/3/1440 AH, all winners who were qualified to final stages of the competition were competing to win the first place in the presence of the Dean, vice-deans, heads of departments, and a group of professors and students. First place was won by Khalid Thamer, Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi and Yousef Al-Hussein. This competition came as part of many student activities held by the college represented by the scientific departments and the Vice-Dean’s Office for Student Affairs.
