A delegation from the academic departments accompanied with the head of the Academic Advising unit have paid a visit to the high schools of Hawtat Sudair A delegation from the college academic departments in the persons of professor Manaa Munif Alharbi, the English department head, Dr. Mahmoud Hassan Shehata, the Mathematics Department head, Dr. Jamal Ridha Halawa, the Business Administration department representative and professor Haitham Mohamed Khair Al-Youssef , head of the college Academic Advising Unit and the Secretary of the student activities unit have paid a visit to the secondary schools in the province of Hawtat Sudair, Almoajal education complex and Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz School. The delegation stressed out the importance of choosing the appropriate department following one’s desires and preferences and not the community’s preferences. They also pointed out to the nature of the university life and services offered by the universities and the efforts of the concerned authorities to facilitate the educational process at the university level. The delegation have also emphasized the need for better students’ performance and the fact that they should work vigorously and seriously to pursue their higher education and excel so they can engage in the labor market and be employed, god willing. A Placement test was distributed to determine the level of the students of the English Language Department. The department will be provided with the tested students’ papers and then, in its turn will provide the schools with the students’ results. At the end of the meetings, the delegation replied to the students’ queries and the schools administrations appreciated this initiative and proposed to organize training courses and submit their proposals to the College
