The unit of Guidance and Students Counseling in the College of Sciences and Humanities in Hawtat Sudair , set an awareness program entitled “Domestic Violence” that took place in the college’s amphitheatre on Tuesday, 1st February 2015, at 10am. The program was delivered by Prof. Njud Al-Metaab and tackled domestic violence and defined “the system of protection from abuse”. The program included video clips that were prepared by Prof. May Al-Hussein and Prof. Fawzia Al-Said, and aims to raise the society’s awareness to the importance of the family as it is the first pillar in the community. They also identified the ways of contacting the concerned bodies in cases of exposure to such situations.
