The department of Islamic studies organized for a lecture in the amphitheatre under the title of “The Ethics of the Teaching Profession” written by Dr. Zeineb Mokhtar Ahmad, in which she tackled many issues showing that the ethics of teaching are of the most important effects on teachers behaviors because they constitute an inner control over oneself, provide them with frames of self-reference that are needed for work, and help them self-reform their performance and relationships with others which helps to take wise decisions needed to be more consistent and compatible with themselves, with their career, and with others. Additionally, she urged that compliance with those ethics is essential and duty, where the number of teachers’ affiliation for his career is determined by the degree of commitment to the rules of the profession and considering it in all cases. The attendees interacted with the lecturer and a constructive discussion took place which added more benefits for everybody.
