The graduation Ceremony of the Ninth Group of the Academic Year 1434-1435 AH In a joyful night, the Science and Humanities College celebrated the graduation of the ninth female students group on Thursday, 23/07/1345 AH. It took place at the theatre of the Cultural AL-Babatin Center in Rawdat Sudeer. The ceremony was inaugurated with a brief speech by His Excellency the Rector, Khaled Bin Saad Al-Muqren. Indeed, His Excellency’s speech had a significant impact on the female students and a greater impact on their parents who prayed for him. This was followed by the ceremony program which started with an introduction during which both student Raya Al-Brahim and Touka Mousa had welcomed the guests. Then, the female students, Sara Al- Chabanet, recited some verses from the Holy Quran. Then, the Vice-Dean of Students Affairs, Professor Maha Bent Abdurrahman Al-Lifan delivered a speech in which she felicitated the female students and their parents for their success. Also, she motivated them to continue scientific march, to learn, and to join the Post Graduate studies, the Electronic universities, and the parallel education. Besides, she motivated them to represent good citizenship and to work hardly, while she shouldered the female student responsibility of increasing the wheel of development and progress in this generous country. Then, she concluded her speech by thanking the college’s affiliates to finish the requirements of the teams as the last batch within the approved plan of the Princess Nora’s University. Furthermore, the Head of the Admission and Enrollment, Nora Al-Thawi delivered the word of the Admission and Enrollment’s Dean, Ahmed Bin Ali Al-Rmihi. This was followed by a visual presentation about the Majmaa University and the word of the graduates which was delivered on their behalf by the student- Nada Al-Brahim. Then, the march of the graduates and which included the honoring of student by the Vice-Dean. After the march, the Vice-Dean felicitated the excellent students and gave them shields. During the ceremony, the college honored the blind student, Naha Bent Falhan Al-Shili who is enrolled in the Studies department in the sixth level for her scientific excellence and for winning the first rank in His Excellency, the Rector’s competition. This was followed by a word mixed with emotions and gratitude delivered by the Vice-Dean. The latter’s speech began with introducing the student Naha Al-Shili and her scientific excellence. Moreover, she thanked Professor, Jawaher Al-Mathi- Head of the Education College’s Activities Unit in the Majmaa for her communication with the student and giving her Quran in Braille version. Also, she urged everyone to never underestimate the potential she possessed despite the condition and the hurdles she confronts. this was followed by a word delivered by Naha Al-Shili in which she thanked the University for its support and for the College as well its Dean, and Professor Jawaher Al-Mathi. Then, Professor Jawaher Al-Mathi gave a speech in which she thanked the student Naha and praised her scientific excellence. Hence, the meeting was concluded by the honoring of the supportive members such as; the Head of the Babatin Cultural Center, the Audio Technology Foundation, and the Yacht Foundation. And before the end, one parent among the present asked for permission to deliver a speech. Indeed, she stepped on the stage, and she began her presentation with congratulations and blessings, while she reminded everyone that this was a Friday night, and she started praying for the university and all the attendance. Finally, the ceremony was concluded with felicitating the graduates and thanking His Excellency the University’s Rector, to his Vice-Deans, and for the organizing committees.
