A Lecture on “Importance of Prayer ‘Salat’”

The Academic Advising Unit at female campus held a lecture jointly with the Holy Quran School in Hawat Sudair, entitled ““Importance of Prayer ‘Salat’”. Students from the Department of Islamic Studies participated under the supervision of Dr. Hayat Othman and the presence of the Vice-Dean, Nora Al-Shehri. The lecture featured the importance of prayers for all Muslims as it is the second of the Five Pillars in the Islamic faith, and an obligated ritual for every Muslim. A group of students, at the end of the lecture, demonstrated the right way of ablutions ‘Wudu’ and Salat followed by distributing leaflets highlighting the value of prayers.
