A Lecture on Islamic jurisprudence ruling on credit card

The Department of Islamic Studies in cooperation with the Student Activity Unit at female campus held on Wednesday a lecture entitled “Islamic jurisprudence ruling on credit card”.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Mariam Jumaah who highlighted the causes of prohibiting financial transactions, including: injustice, deceive, usury.
The presenter defined credit cards and their types such as: ATM cards and credit cards.
Dr. Jumaah pointed out that it is permissible to use credit cards that are free of interest for late payment.
