The Student Activity Unit, in cooperation with the Islamic Studies Department, organized a program on "The Islamic Hijab" from Sunday, 6/6/1438 until Wednesday, 9/6/1438 at the College Theater. The program included a number of religious lectures and objective sketches. Ms. Aziza al-Mufarej participated in the first part by giving a lecture about the "Importance of Wearing the Islamic Hijab". In the second part, Ms. Badriya Al Otaibi presented a lecture entitled "The Beginning of Abandoning Hijab in the Islamic World and Responding to Suspicions". In the third part, Dr. Hayat Othman presented a lecture entitled "Call for Islam with wisdom and Good Advice". In the fourth part, Dr. Noura Al-Shehri, Vice-dean of Female Student Section, gave a speech on "The importance of Wearing Hijab". The Dean of the College, Dr. Yousef Al-Mahous, spoke about the same topic as well afterward. The program also included an exhibition of headscarves with the distribution of pamphlets regarding the significance of Hijab in Islam. A special corner was set for those who wished to replace their indecent Abaya (cloak) with descent ones. A competition on the hijab was also organized under the auspices of the Religious Office in Riyadh.
