The Department of Business Administration held on Tuesday a reception ceremony for new students in the presence of the department faculty members. The ceremony was inaugurated by a beautiful recitation of the Holy Koran for the student Abdelelah Abo Ghanim, followed by a brief presentation given by the student Mubarak Al-Mansour who provided a brief account of the department and its majors, the difference between high school and college life, and how students should be more responsible and well-organized about their study. Dr. Jamal Halawah explained exhaustively the academic advising and basic curriculum including the prerequisite courses. Sharing his experience with new students, the outstanding student Khalid Al-Re’aydan, talked about the common mistakes students usually make. The ceremony was concluded by providing very important pieces of advice by some faculty members on the regulations, plans of the department, visiting the college library on regular basis and attending classes.
