The Intellectual Awareness Unit, in collaboration with female graduate students, organized a lecture entitled "Obey Allah and He protects You" on Wednesday, June 5/06/1439 at the Reception Hall of the College. The lecture began with verses from the Holy Quran, and then a video showing the ability of Allah to protect the worshippers was presented. After that, the Vice Dean of the female Student section, Dr. Noura Bint Shaker Al-Shihri, gave an overview of hadeeth of Ibn Abbas who said: “I was behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when he said: "Boy, Obey Allah and He will protect you, Obey Him and He will support you. Seek refuge in Allah only and know that if a whole nation wants to help you with something that was not destined for you, they won’t, and if they all agreed to hurt you with something that is not meant for you, they could not. Destiney is all.” Dr. Noura also revealed that obeying Allah means committing to prayers and abstaining from everything leading to disobedience. ith piety of God and maintain the prayer and the maintenance of the heart for the desires and suspicions and keeping the tongue from the taboo and deaf to hear the taboo and the eye from the consideration of the Haram and belly of eating haraam, and drew on the verses of the Koran and Sunnah, (Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on the authority of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on the authority of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) When he dies, he will die in faith.
