Principles of Translation from English into Arabic

English Language Department (female campus) in a collaboration with Quality and Development Unit held a training course entitled “Basics and Principles of Translation from English into Arabic” on Wednesday 23-2-1438 AH, presented by Dr. Sana A. Mahmoud, an associate professor in the English Department. The course targeted the affiliates of the college and addressed many theoretical and practical aspects of translation such as: Introduction to translation, the main task of translator, strategies of translation, problems and challenges faced translator during translation process and how to deal with them, and how to apply these methods and principles when translating from Arabic into English.
