The Student Activities Unit – in women campus- held on Tuesday 5.2.1437 a ceremony under the motto “The Prophet is My Role-Model” in the college square. The Secretary of the Student Activities Unit, Ms. Haya Alsibeiei, started the event, talking about the meaning of true love for the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). This was followed by a talk about the religious practices of the Prophet’s sunnahs (traditions; sing. sunnah), made by the College’s Vice Dean in women campus, Dr. Noorah Alshehri; the College’s Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Ms. Maha Alleifan; and the faculty member in the Department of Islamic Studies, Ms. Badriyyah Aloteibi. Then, the student Shahad Abdurrahman Al-Sweilem recited a love poem about the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). After that, a video presentation was made on the real love of the Prophet and the importance of maintaining his sunnahs through putting them into practice; and pamphlets about some of the Prophet’s abandoned practices were also distributed.
