The student Activities Unit of the Contemporary Islamic Studies Department in the College Visits the Shura Council The Student Activities Unit of the Contemporary Islamic Studies in the College visited the Shura Council on Tuesday on 14/07/1435 AH. They were accompanied by Dr, Abdul Aziz Bin Mohamed Al-Hamdan- Head of the Unit, and Professor Mishaal Bin Salah Al-Samhan. Among those who were in the reception of guests were Professor Abdul Aziz Mohamed Al-Ajalin, Assistant Manager of the Council Public Relations and Professor Saad Al-Morshed. During the visit, visitors had watched a documentary film since the foundation of the Council during the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, May God Protect Him. Also, they were introduced to the achievements made by the Council in serving the Country and the citizen. Then, all the attendance met a member of the Shura Council, Dr. Hassan Bin Abdul Mohsen Al- Angari, who explained the Council’s important tasks. After that, visitors were offered the chance for inquiry and question. After lunch, the attendance visited the exhibition prepared by the Shura Council which included the Blogging phases and records since the formation of the Shura Council till the present day. Therefore, we realized the great achievement, coordinated mission, and perseverant work made by the successive Heads of the Shura Council since their appointment. And then, all the guests attended a the Shura Council session during which His Excellency the Head of the Shura Council welcomed D, Abdul Aziz Bin Mohamed Al-Hamdan and Professor Mechaal Al-Samhan, as well as the students who attended the session. Finally, the department offered commemorative shield to the Council, and it was given to the Head of the Council’s Public Relations. Then, Dr, Abdul Aziz Bin Mohamed Al-Hamdan thanked the Council for its distinguished hospitality. He, also, thanked God and those working in the Shura Council and particularly His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohamed AL Sheikh for their blessed efforts under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz-May God bless and protect him.
