The Student Activities Unit held a meeting with the freshmen of the Business Administration Department on Monday 22/4/1437. Dr. Jaafar AL Sharif the head of department welcomed the new students and went into some details that matter for students like referring to the department in everything related to academic affairs such as choosing sections and courses in addition to department-student relationships and the need to refer to the academic advisor. Dr AL Sharif also explained the role the department plays to help students gain knowledge to serve their community after graduation. Dr. Mohamed Sulaiman Abu Salah the department vice chair dealt with such academic affairs as faculty-student relationship as well as the use of the tools provided by the University like D2L, which complements the educational process at the college. Dr. Jamal Halawa, the coordinator of the Student Community Service Unit highlighted the importance of playing one's assigned roles in the community and urged students to invest their energies to help the country and society. The student Abdullah AL Jarioui took then the floor to deliver the student speech where he welcomed his colleagues and told them about his academic experience at the college and how students should cooperate to achieve common interests.
